Farmers Market
The Ag Society will be sponsoring the Vauxhall Public Markets during the summer/fall season. These markets provide a venue for people to buy and sell produce and merchandise which are produced in their own homes and gardens.
2024
Looking forward to a new market season, the dates are:
May 4th 10am - 3pm - Pre-Mother's Day Market & Talent Show
Aug 7th 5:30pm - 7:30pm - Theme is Camping & BBQ
Aug 21st 5:30pm - 7:30pm - we will have a Flower Bouquet Contest
Sept 4th 5:30pm - 7:30pm - Show & Shine
Sept 18th 5:30pm - 7:30pm - Pumpkin Carving & Painting, supper will be the annual Vauxhall Library Fundraiser
Dec 7th 10am - 3pm, we will have a Christmas Cookie Contest and Talent Show

The dates for our 2022 Farmers Markets are July 27th, August 10th, August 24th, September 7th and October 29th. We hope you all can attend!
2021
Vauxhall Public Outdoor Markets will be held on Wednesday's from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
July 21st, August 4th, August 18th & September 1st.
Located in the Vauxhall Legion Park in the middle of town.
2020
Due to COVID-19 our 2020 markets will be canceled.
2019
The Vauxhall Agricultural Society is pleased to sponsor the Vauxhall Farmers Market for another season, starting with the Spring Market and Craft Sale on May 4th from 10 am to 3 pm.
Other Market dates are by-weekly Wednesdays from 6 - 8 pm starting July 17th until October 9th.
The Fall Market is set for October 26th from 10 am to 3 pm.
The Christmas Market is set for Nov. 30th from 1-4 pm this year.
2018
The Vauxhall Agricultural Society is pleased to sponsor the Vauxhall Farmers Market for another season, starting with the Spring Market and Craft Sale on May 5th from 10 am to 3 pm.

The Fall Market is set for October 27th from 10 am to 3 pm.
An evening Market November 21st from 6 -8 pm where the Bench Show ribbons will be awarded. The Christmas Market is set for Dec. 1st from 1-4 pm this year.
We once again will put on four Bench Shows two in August (15. & 29.)and two in September (12. & 26.). Stay tuned for details.
The markets featured bench shows where exhibitors could enter their flowers, vegetables, preserves, art work and photographs. There were categories in each show for children to enter. 2018 we decided to take a break with the shows as interest seems to dwindle, maybe we'll have it back in 2020 if we get requests.
2017
Vauxhall Agricultural Society Bench Show Winners were named at the Farmer's Market on Nov. 22, 2017. Overall entries at the 4 Bench Shows have increased this year. There were 122 entries, split into flowers, vegetables, fruit, handicrafts, baking and canning. The Bench Shows cater to all age groups from pre-school to seniors. Cash prizes of $8 for First, $6 for Second and $4 for Third were given. The Vauxhall Agricultural Society spent over $3400 on prize money over the 4 shows.
The Bench Shows are only a small part of what the Vauxhall Agricultural Society does for our community. There are now 10 Farmer's Markets held annually from May to December. Markets have been revamped, resulting in more vendors at every market, great shopping and a chance to visit with friends and neighbours.
The Ag Society is always looking for new members. The next meeting will be on Monday, December 5, 2018 at 7 pm at the library.
